I found this at maccentral.com. Looks nice for people purchasing ADC equiped towers that do not have Apple or ADC monitors. Not a bad price either...

VGA Extractor for ADC now available

Dr. Bott, a manufacturer and distributor of Mac peripherals, is shipping its US$34.95 VGA Extractor for ADC, which allows dual analog displays from the built-in video on Apple's latest Power Mac G4s.

The video cards on Apple's new G4s offer an ADC and a VGA port, each capable of driving a separate display. Dr. Bott's VGA Extractor for ADC allows the ADC port on these cards to drive a standard analog display, according to Eric Prentice, CEO of Dr. Bott.

VGA Extractor also allows the use of our MoniSwitch Pro Dual VGA without the need for an additional video card. It requires no software or drivers and supports any display that is compatible with the built-in VGA port.

VGA Extractor is compatible with the ATI Radeon 7500 (in the Power Mac G4 800) and the Nvidia GeForce 4MX (in the G4 933 and dual 1GHz ,models). It requires Mac OS 9.2.2 or 10.1.2. It's currently not compatible with the Apple TwinView card in the Power Mac G4 800 dual processor.

ACD PIC card

any one know some one that make a ACD PCI card?? I want to run twin Apple LCD's but I dont want to use the dual Video card Apple sells and have to buy a connetor like AlphaTech is talking about. seems like a wast of Money.

DrBott also has the DVIator which will allow you to use ANY DVI video card with an ADC monitor. With that, you could add another video card to your ADC equiped G4 and run two Apple LCD's, or whatever you want.

The ADC to VGA is usefull if people have two VGA screens and get a new tower. That way, they can use both buy getting just one extra product.

I have a feeling that enough people requested such an item to make DrBott make and offer it.

I will probably get one when I pick up a new tower, so that I can use my ViewSonic LCD as well as a second screen without getting a second video card.

I looked into that

I looked into that when I got my Quicksilver but I just didnt want to spend the extra $100 for the Dual card and then another $59.00 for the adapter so I could have 2 Apple LCD's. I would much rather just get a ACD PCI card... but I guess thats not so bad. Oh well.. I didnt opt for the dual card so now I have to get a new one or get a second one via PCI nomatter what if I want to go Dual LCD's

I dont need dual LCD's that bad any way :)
