Hi,

I've googled this and it was dicussed a year ago here but I was wondering anybody has figured it out.

I've copied some desktop image folders into library/desktop pictures but when I open System Preferences my new folders cannot be seen.

anybody got any ideas? I'm using Tiger.

thanks.

I haven't used Tiger but doesn't the desktop & screensaver have a + button where you can add any folder you want, for example your Pictures folder? This is how it works in Leopard so you don't have to bother cramming pics into /Library.

there isn't a "+ button" on mine.

I was just looking for a faster way to access wallpaper and keep them together

On Tiger, in Desktop & Screen Saver preferences, you must scroll down to the "Choose Folder..." option to add in the folder you created.

yes, but I was hoping that there was a way to add it to the list with the Nature, Abstract, etc. folder.
