Hello,
I currently own a late 2006 white core2duo iMac witha 160gb HDD. I know how to take it a part and replace it but i am not sure what kind of drives are compatible. It has SATA 2, SATA 3 is backwards compatible with SATA 2 and 1. I am not sure whether it matters if the drive is the same make as the default drive or if the size matters.
