Add additonal line AT&T port number later

Is this possible? I plan on adding a line just by picking a new number and then port my girlfriend's phone number over to my new line from Tmobile

Yes it is very easy. Just make suer not to cancel her T-Mobile account, it needs to be active for the port process to work and transfer her number to AT&T. Also you should double-check that her number is portable and eligible to port out. Most should but it is good to be prepared.

Make sure that she has her T-Mobile account information handy when you are ready to port her number.

Thanks Dave.. her number is eligible and we won't cancel anything we'll let AT&T do that when porting the number. Just wanted to see if anyone has done this before.. appreciate it!
