I love that the Siri face tells me exactly what’s needed. If I have an alarm it shows me the alarm. If I have a timer it shows me the timer. If I have a todo it shows me the todo. If I have an event it shows me the event. Then I don’t need to think about which complication to add, Siri shows me everything which is relevant. However, for whatever stupid reason, Siri keeps recommending me to set new timers. “Do you want me to set a timer for 45 min?”. No I don’t want to. Just because I did it once doesn’t mean I want to do it everyday. There doesn’t seem to be any way to show existing timers without also getting recommendations.

To circumvent the recommendations, I thought of using a 3rd party app for timers. I downloaded Due (https://apps.apple.com/se/app/due-reminders-timers/id390017969) and MultiTimer (https://apps.apple.com/se/app/multitimer-multiple-timers/id973421278). In the Siri watch face settings, I enabled both apps. I then started a timer in each app. However, neither shows the current timer on the Siri watch face.

What am I doing wrong?

Pretty sure there is a toggle for all the apps related to what the Siri Watch face shows. I believe the timer toggle is there as well. Go into the app and turn it off?

It's assuming you are going to use the 45min timer again. It wouldn't know that you don't. When I cook food in the oven I usually set it for 12mins so for me 12mins is always there, I tap that shortcut probably 1-2 /week

I want the face to show current timers, I just don’t want it to recommend new timers.

Imagine if the watch face all the time recommended you to create a new event, a todo, start an alarm, send an email etc. I don’t think many would like that. I don’t see how timers are any different.
