Add Backlit Keyboard to Macbook

How would one go about installing a backlit keyboard on a new AluMac? Is it even possible? What would be involved?

It would be a lot easier and probably cheaper to just buy the MacBook that is already backlit.

The cost/time of doing that probably wouldnt be worth it. Who knows if it would even work. I believe there is additional software on the 2.4 to control the backlight.

Alternatively, you could buy a flashlight.

Yea, if you haven't bought it already, get the one with a beautiful factory backlight (plus bigger HDD, and faster processor).
Well worth it (As I type this in an otherwise dark room)

I would if I had a new Alu MB, but alas, I'm stuck with my less-than-a-year-old white MB with no fancy touch gestures or light-up keys.

Erhm.. This is NOT BACKLIT... and the reflection off the screen would be horrible.. It's all Apple's fault.. they didn't take THESE into consideration when they designed the new MB...

paint the keyboard with glow in the dark paint…activates only when there is a lack of light!
