Add contacts from old iPhone to new contact list on new iPhone

Hello,

I am trying to copy an old contact list (1000+ contacts) on one iphone, to add to another contact list (100+ other contacts) on another iphone.... To end up with the 1100 contacts all on the same phone...

Everything I have found so far is to transfer contacts to a brand new phone, really could use some help ! Thanks,
