Add media remotely to HTPC/ATV

Looking to implement a system that allows me to upload onto a HTPC hooked up to my mum’s TV, over the internet, so that I can feed her stuff to watch without having to lug an tv round. She isn’t tech savvy but can get round a front row type interface. Has anyone got any suggestions or is it even possible (hacked ATVs?)

You could use this plugin and build a script that downloads the files from the Internet.
Should be pretty straightforward.

If you want to do it more sohpisticated, you could also use bittorrent
