Add Modem Init Strings?

Where's the option under Tiger to add some modem init strings please? I've searched the forums and googled, but can't find out where to add them.

Any particular reason why you want to do that?

As for you questions, I'm not sure, as I've never had the need to... all the modem scripts can be found in /Library/Modem Scripts. Editing the script for you modem should allow you use whatever strings you want.

Maybe there's an easier way, but I honestly don't know.

You have to make a terminal script, there's a good example here:

I make one for connecting to my university base upon this one. If it doesn't work you may want to "use terminal command line" option in the network preference, option button. You can manually tape the string require.

Yep, i'm after connecting to GPRS via my mobile - http://www.filesaveas.com/gprsconnect.html#laptop (mobile = k750i).. I normally just dialup an ISP, but recently bills have been huge, so now I'd like to use up my GPRS bundle instead
