Add new songs to phone w/o replacing all?

I have already loaded 600 songs onto my iPhone 6 and now I want to add only Tones, so I will have my ringtones. As I start to click the Sync button, it warns that it will be removing all my previous music etc from my phone to re-sync. Is this necessary?

New Note: All right, this is getting ridiculous. I finally got all my ringtones back on my iPhone, and it sucked out all my music! So I had to put all my music back on. At least I was able to keep my ringtones this time.
