Well, I have finally done it!! I am officially responsible for switching a windows user to Mac!!
After a couple of weeks hammering away at the advantages of using the Mac, one of my colleagues has just gone out and bought a new 2.2 GHz SR MacBook Pro. I did the bargain hunting and got $150 off the standard price
. He is entirely new to the whole scene and he entrusted me with the official opening of the box tonight - you all know how it feels to open up a new Mac from its box and press the start button for the first time.
I have spent the last 4 hours installing some apps and setting it up just right so he can just boot it tomorrow and start doing typical Mac stuff.
I just thought I would let you all know - I did something good today!
