I got an email that you can choose all your configs before 11/6. Then just checkout on 11/6. Has anyone been able to add it to bag? its still grayed out for me?

You can favorite your configuration. Look for a little heart at the top left when you have your options set.

Top right LOL ... IDK if will let you add both but worth a try

Make sure you’re using the app rather than a browser and then favourite your choice (little heart) then simply open the app when pre order opens and it will be there if you scroll down a bit. Much quicker doing it that way.

Thanks to all. yeah favorite works but u still gotta recheck payment options. Dont remember how it was in the past. Feels like this will be more reminiscent of the iphone pre 2016 launches. Is it still 8am EST?

Yes 5 AM PST, 7 AM CST, 8 AM EST.
