I own this device and it's not like having a 500GB iPad. With the app, you can only view 60 photos at a time, even if you play a slideshow. Same thing with music and movies. It has DLNA but it takes forever to index the files, and it does every time you start it up! The only use I have for it is movies. So if you plan to use it for something else, expect trouble.
