I have to post this cause I believe it's a serious problem:

I spend a lot of time, at least daily browsing the internet trying to find a great wallpaper for my desktop. I always find something after at least an hour of searching only to have the process repeat all over again.

I'm wondering if anyone else runs into this problem, or is just never satisfied with their wallpaper?

I know I can set it up so my desktop wallpaper will automatically change every hour/day/week so with that being said, can I set that up for like a website's photo archive? I specifically ask cause Nasa has great Astro of the Day photos and it would be nice to wake up to a new shot each day.

I'm on the other side of that issue, I haven't changed my wallpaper in about 50 weeks :p

I see no reason to worry about your wallpaper either :p

So I gotta ask out of curiousity then, what is your wallpaper?

I usually always switch from a personal photo from my iPhoto or some random firefox logo/jessica alba/planet earth photo from google.

Hasn't changed in about 2 years. Not important to me and too many things to do to waste time worrying about it personally.

But to each his own!

I hardly change mine. Mine is this one for this reason:

Physiological Effect: Violet has shown to alleviate conditions such as sunburn due to its purifying and antiseptic effect. This color also suppresses hunger and balances the body’s metabolism. Indigo, a lighter purple, has been used by doctors in Texas as an anesthesia in minor operations because its narcotic (soothing and numbing) qualities.

Psychological Effect: Purples have been used in the care of mental of nervous disorders because they have shown to help balance the mind and transform obsessions and fears. Indigo is often associated with the right side of the brain; stimulating intuition and imagination. Violet is associated with bringing peace and combating shock and fear. Violet has a cleansing effect with emotional disturbances. Also, this color is related to sensitivity to beauty, high ideals and stimulates creativity, spirituality and compassion. Psychic power and protection has also been associated with violet.

I gotta say, I love that reason. The just plain violet is okay but i'd like to find something in that color palette range then.

My Wallpapers folder has 363 items in it and I have my wallpaper set to change every 5 minutes so I know exactly how you feel. :)

Although I don't spend all my time searching for walls, but that's probably because I have a pretty large folder already. ;)

I've been using this one since I upgraded to Tiger a few weeks ago (Send $$$). The black and white contrasts wonderfully with the little splashes of color in the dock and desktop icons.

I change about once every 3 days, so yeah, I'd say I change it quite a bit. Find a col download called wallsaver that let's you use your screensavers as a desktop background.
