Adding a email to my iPad; How too?

Hi all,
how do I ad my wife's email address to my iPad?? I'd like her to have the use of my iPad.

I tried adding her email through the settings "ad account" followed all instructions and it still failed. Message something about SSL or some such message ..

Need some help..

Same as mine We're both Gmail.. It's not the email provider it's Apple iPad.. my email works fine on the iPad.

When trying to add an email account, you go to settings, mail, contacts,calendars and choose Google. It should work.
