Adding a hard drive

I added a external hard drive via Firewire. It's not showing up in OS X or disk utility. Currently the disk is formatted for Linux(ext3, Swap, etc).

Doesn't matter how its formated, Disk Utility should pick it up. Did you try a different firewire port? What kind of drive is it? Who makes it?
