Hello,
I have FileVault on my Macbook Air, but I would like to make a partition for Ubuntu about 30GB or so.

I am sitting in Disk Utility and added a second partition of about 30GB and I am afraid to click "Apply" because I am afraid that doing this might make my OS X unusable or erased.

Anyone have any experience with partition and filevault will I loose my data?

I am aware the ubuntu partition won't be encrypted I am not worried about that I just don't want to ruin my OSX partition which is my main driver.

Thanks
