Adding custom fields in iTunes?

Well, the subject says it - is there a way to add custom fields to iTunes? I'd like to enter the label information to my songs but not via the commentary tag if possible.

There is no way to add custom fields as of yet. There are many tags in the ID3 spec that iTunes doesn't support outright, but hopefully they'll add it in some future version (like they did with the composer tag).
