I have 10.4 and want to know if I can add the feature to a folder when I RIGHT click on it. Like Windows you have a ton of options to copy, paste, cut and rename. All I have is OPEN GET INFO and Is this an option in my OSX? Also is there a short cut to "rename" a folder?

thanks.

If you click once on a folder (or any other file) and hit return then that will allow you to rename it. Is that what you are looking for? :)

Never knew that. Thanks,

Also, I do have the copy function but no "CUT"

This would make it easier to transfer one file from one hard drive to the next instead of it always making a copy when I click and drag a file or folder.

There is no cut function in Finder. Cmd+Drag will move the files.
