Adding extra 8gb

I have a 2011 i5 mac, it seems pretty fast but I noticed that i can get an extra 8gb of ram from Crucial for €78 seems like a bargain to me!

So if I get it what differences will i notice?

Open Activity Monitor and take a look at how much RAM you are currently using (page outs are the most important). RAM is so cheap now so I would get 2x4GB anyway, even if you didn't really need it.

You are right about it being cheap i remember paying over £500 for an extra 4mb of ram
