Hey guys, i have a 2011 17" MBP with a 128gb apple SSD in it, looking to add another 750gb Hitachi HDD for internal space, im opting for the OWC optibay.

should i move my apple SSD to that bay and put the HDD in the standard slot or just put the new HDD in the optibay, will it matter for boot order, movement or when the laptop is transported (which it is every day)?

cheers guys

Boot order doesn't matter.

I put the physical disk in the standard HD bay (and the SSD in the optical bay) because the HD bay has rubber vibration mounts (which seem more useful on the physical HD).
