I wonder if there's a way to add HTML or HTML5 video to posts like how you can add images? If not then can it be added?

I have a GIF thread and it would save so much bandwidth if I could convert everything to HTML5 video using Gfycat and then embed those.

Upload video to youtube and use the youtube tag

I was thinking of this but the problem is they don't loop like a GIF, however Gfycat has set it up to loop.

How long are the gifs? Just make a video that loops 4 or 5 times, so they get the idea. (Though, I could see that replay could be a problem, since embedded youtube video tends to go to the "related-video/you-might-like" view at end.)

You tube videos are the only video content members can embed in posts.

This one simulates a loop, but it only goes on for ten hours

(admittedly, the original source was a flash animation, not a gif)

I can't get youtube videos to work, what part of this do I use between the Youtube Tag?

nm, got it:eek:
