Adding movie posters to ripped movies in Itunes

I have read multiple forums and nothing seems to help. I have added movies into Itunes that I created with Wondershare DVD. Watching works just fine but the album art image is just the first scene on the file. Ive gone to many sites, downloaded images and copy/paste them into the album art section of "Get info". When I paste the image its there, but after I hit "ok" nothing happens and the image doesnt change. When I go back into "Get info" the file isnt there anymore.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
