adding music/videos to iphone 4S

I recently traded laptops with my friend. With the new laptop, I cannot modify anything on my iphone 4S in iTunes. Cannot add songs, movies, apps, podcasts or anything. They just won't drag in.

This is really annoying...I tried restoring the iPhone, nothing helped.

I tried clicking "manually manage songs" and got this:

The iPhone “Graham's iPhone” is synced with another iTunes library. Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library?

Would I need to restore and backup? How do I preserve my App Data and other things?



What can be done?

App data can be backed up with iCloud. Let iTunes sync up.
