Adding my MSN Messenger contacts to iChat

Hi folks,

I'm wondering if anybody has had any success adding MSN buddies to iChat.

I realise this is a 'hack' and I've tried to follow a tutorial or two on various sites after a Google search but haven't had any luck.

I'm pretty sure it must still be possible so if anybody can point me in the right direction then let me know - thanks.

iChat can only speak AIM: it cannot connect to the MSN network at all. Use Adium instead.

iChat also supports Jabber.
You will need to download a Jabber client to set this up. I suggest Psi.
You create a login for a Jabber Server (within Psi) and import your MSN contacts to your Jabber login.

Then you login to iChat with said Jabber login and password.

Edit: In my opinion it is to much of a hassle to set up msn for iChat. Not to mention once you set it up, iChat will ask you if you want to add each person seperatly. If you have 200+ people on your list, your entire page fills up with notifications. It's a crazy sight I tells ya.
I did it once, but now use Adium. If they ever do end up supporting MSN natively, I will use iChat, but until then...no.
