Adding new categories to the iTunes library

I have an extensive collection of older cartoons (5 - 8 minutes long each, max), cartoon "shorts," and old television commercials that don't fall under the category, TV SHOWS or MOVIES, is there any way to manually add more categories to the iTunes library list, or with some sort of software? Has anyone ever heard of this before?
