Hello,

I'd like to know if it's possible to add some mp3s from an audiobook not purchased from iTunes into iTunes' Book section. Presently, it sees my audiobook as music, adding it to the Music library, but I'd like for it to be recognized as an audio book as I assume iTunes' Book section has some extra utility, like remembering where you last left off, as with podcasts.

I tried manually adding the audiobook into iTunes by guessing at what the file structure may be, based on what the music file structure is like. So I tried: iTunes>iTunes Media>Books>"Name of Author">"Name of Book">"the mp3s," but that didn't work.

Thanks for any help.

Right Click on the track -> Get Info -> Options -> Media Kind = Audiobook.

Thanks for that. It worked. Apparently iTunes Books doesn't help remember where you left off, like how it handles podcasts. Any people have workarounds for that?
