I doubt there is a work around to this but when I add some shoutcast internet radio stations to iTunes and play in AppleTV, the title of the music played stays static and doesn't change. Shoutcast info shows up fine under winamp and Xmbc. Anyone know a work around?

Can you post a link to the stream?

Sure, one is http://75.125.224.107:8000

You'll notice that in iTunes, it almost looks like it is working (title displayed) but inbetween if you wait there are formatting characters as the title scrolls. On AppleTV, there is no title. Open it in winamp or Xmbc and it looks fine. Thanks for the help...

Can you post the URL without the IP address ?

They seem to only post the IP address. If you looks at AnimeNfo's information page (the station that this is for), you'll see a list of them as well as playlists you can click on to download (which also have the ip address if you look at them).

http://www.animenfo.com/radio/listen.php

Yo can also search on Shoutcast's site to get them.

Copy the link that has a *.m3u or *.pls extension in it and paste it into the iTunes Advanced>Open audio stream

And there ya go!

[edit] forgot about the Apple tv part.

Make a playlist in iTunes. I call mine "streams". Drag the newly created albums to that playlist.

It should show up on the Apple TV.

Yep, that is how you can create it (I did this). But you'll see on AppleTV, the title of the songs won't show up. There is something funny going on there.
