Adding the Forcetouch trackpad to older models?

Might sound like a stupid question, but does anyone know if you can replace the standard touch pad with a new Forcetouch pad?

Obviously this means ripping the machine apart. But my trackpad needs replacing anyway so just thought I would ask the question.
