Hello. I would like to know how new wallpapers can be added to the folder that contains the default wallpapers. Thank you.

Hello. I would like to know how new wallpapers can be added to the folder that contains the default wallpapers. Thank you.

Open your Macintosh HD

Then:

Library> Desktop Pictures

Then you will have to drag and drop the pictures you would like to add. You will have to authenticate this action since it's accessing the original system files. Enter your password or authenticate or whatever it asks and you'll be good to go.

I would recommend just adding your own folder to the list in System Preferences instead of mucking around in the Library. Just click the little plus button at the bottom of the list and you can have your own folders appear there. I've done that for a while, works very nicely.
