Adding words to IOS5 Dictionary

So I use the word "yo" a lot and I'm sick and tired of typing "yo" on my iphone and the work "to" comes up. I added it to my dictionary under Setting/keyboard.shortcuts. I thought this was suppose to not change my "yo" into "to" anymore? Well it still changes it...


Anyone know what the issue is?

Did you put "yo" in both fields? or just the phrase?

So far all mine that i have put in, and i put it in JUST the phrase field work just fine.

Continue typing yo, just hit the little "x" that comes up when it tries to correct it to "to." Also, you can try resetting the dictionary and then do the above, sometimes it gets a little corrupted in there.

Thanks, I restarted the phone and now it works perfectly.
