Additional HDD In Optical Bay Question-Sudden Movement

Hello, I know the OEM location of the HDD has a sudden motion sensor that parks the HDD to protect it. Since this is a laptop we are talking about, I often hear it park when I move it on my lap. How risky, or prone to issues is an additional HDD placed in the optical drive bay, since there is no motion sensor there?
