I'm using FCE to edit a short video of some spring foliage for my wife's blog. In trying to put transitions between clips, the "additive dissolve" is not working correctly. It looks the same as the "cross dissolve" transition. I'm thinking I may need to uninstall/reinstall FCE 4.0 and see if that solves the problem.
What I'm trying to do is simply fade the first clip into the second (NOT fading out and then fading back in to the next clip) and then the second clip is bright as the former is fading. Sorry to be redundant but I want to let you guys know what I'm talking about.
Any suggestions?
