Addonics portable Dual Drive RAID enclosure

Is this the BEST way for me to utilize the two extra 2.5" HD I have? If I install two 320GB HD set them to RAID 0, will I get 640GB for my Time Machine? Anyone has a better solution for use of extra HDs?

About the Raid enclosure

I purchased the unit because I had 2/160GB seagate drives in USB enclosures and they were veeeeeeery slow. I did what someone said: initialize each disk separatety and then put them together. They work fine via E-Sata. I use them in mirror when on the field. They do not work in Mac via USB. Did you purchase the unit. I am wondering if it works with 320 or 500GB disks, since the factory only tested the enclosure with 80GB drives
