Address bar and autocomplete

I am using an 11 inch macbook air, the recent version running 10.7. For some reason in Safari the address bar has stopped working with autocomplete. It started when I exited with a common-W. One time I reset Safari and it came back, but autocomplete is gone again.

Is there some setting I might have changed?

Wierd, hasn’t happened to me.

But Safari seems to be weird, strange stuff happening that only starts working again with a browser restart, like:

-history search bar not working,
-UI elements in full screen hiding under the full screen bar
-top sites pages not registering clicks.
