Address Book App not launching

Hello,

I am trying to open the Address Book App and the icon just bounces once and then it does not open or marks the application as "not responding".

This is happening in a MacBook4,1 with 10.5.8.

A couple of weeks ago I installed the Blackberry Desktop Software and I don't know if this could be related.
