I'm not sure if this is expected or not as i am new to macs, but I have contacts in my address book that are automatically changing and its getting annoying.
I'll give an example:
In my address book I have an entry 'mum' which has the first name set as 'mum' and no last name set (as i know my mum's last name).
However, soon after setting this contact I go back into the address book and it has changed to 'mum <mum surname>' (where <mum surname> is my mum's surname and is now set as the contact last name).
I can't be certain, but i think it is happening after receiving an email from this contact.
I don't want OS X to update my contacts as I have them setup how i like.
I've looked in preferences and i can't see any auto update settings.
Has anyone seen this before and how can i stop it from happening?
