address book synching

Hi peoples,

I have a question about address book synching. I recently had to format my mac partition due to corrutpion of the partition table, but no i face another problem. I haven't synched my iphone to my computer yet because i'm afraid that my iphone contacts will be wiped out, and i don't have a backup of my contacts. Do you guys have any suggestions.

If you sync your phone, it will merge your contacts with those in your Address Book, thereby putting all of your iPhone contacts back into your computer. There is an option for your Address Book to completely rewrite your iPhone contacts, but you have to enable it under advanced settings, so don't worry about that.

Just hook up your iPhone and follow the prompts in iTunes.
