As most of you already know, Apple Address Book has some really cool features in it. The coolest ones being in my opinion the popup on the screen when you get a call on your bluetooth phone. As well as the ability to send/receive sms text messages.

More info on features here: http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/a/wireless/2002/11/27/sms.html

However, as cool as I think this feature is, I have not been able to use it!

I have gotten the blackberry and the address book application to pair via bluetooth (the bluetooth logo in Address Book has turned blue and reads connected). Also, when I right click a name I can select "Call with blackberry" or "Sms with blackberry".

However, nothing happens!

Anyone have any ideas? I would love to be able to use this.

Blackberries are, and will forever be, incompatible with the Mac.

I was recently interested in purchasing the Blackberry Curve. When I called, the rep told me that they have never been able to fully synch with Mac without some unreasonable third party software. I don't know the specifics of the software, but maybe someone else can help you with that.
