Hi all! :)
I have a problem in my Address Book application....
U know the bar that separates the contact names and the window where i see the pic and the information about the contact?
Well, when i open adress book, the bar appears and a another bar appears on the left side on iit, and 0.3 secs later, it disappears...

Why does a second bar appear and disappears??????
WHY???
it's not normal, right??
Well, CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO FIX IT?
OR HOW CAN I REINSTALL THE ADDRESS BOOK APP?
OR DOWNLOAD IT?
PLEASE HELP!! :(
THANKS!! :D

You cannot download individual apps that ship with the OS.

Please use correct capitalisation. All caps is difficult to read and makes you look like an 8 year old.

You can extract individual apps from the system restore CDs/DVD with Pacifist

to repaire permission

It works by comparing the actuall permissions of each file on the disk with the correct permissions. If, for example, a graphic required by an app was persmissioned so as you could not read it then the app would not be able to use it and you would get a broken interface.

You can repair permissions using Disk Utility (in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder).

This is probably not the problem, but it does not hurt to try it.

what do i do when i go on the disk utility?

Select the drive you want to repair on the left (your main hard drive normally) and click the button that says Repair Permissions. Then wait till it's done.

but u wrote that if there is something wrong, i won't be able to use it anymore...
Is right?

Repairing permissions cannot make things worse. It may fix the problem but that is unlikely in this case.
