Addresses in calendar that launch maps?

Hi Guys,
I've been typing addresses into Calendar, but when I sync to my iPhone 3GS it doesn't give me the option to launch the address in maps. I seem to remember being able to do this before when I saved the address in an email, does this not work when you manually type it into location?
