For the most part, Safari works fine for me, but there are a few issues I have and I was hoping I might find a solution to them or find other people with the same issues:

1. Safari does not seem to handle "sign in with Facebook" websites very well. For example, Goodreads. The way I sign into Goodreads is by signing in with my Facebook account. On Chrome, a little dialog pops up that says "signing you in" and you will stay signed in for several days. With Safari, this dialog never appears and it seems I have to re-sign in every time I visit the site. Additionally, there are times when I will bring up Goodreads in Safari, it appears I'm signed in, and then it automatically signs me out and I have to sign in again. What's going on here? I've seen similar things on other sites that I sign into with Facebook, like RottenTomatoes.

2. In Preferences --> Search, you find a checkbox "Show Favorites". The description is as follows: "Show your favorite websites below the Smart Search field when you click in the field while viewing a webpage." By default, it's enabled. But I noticed that much of the time when I click on the "Smart Search field", i.e. the address bar, the browser "freezes" for a second while it loads my Favorites. Enough to show the rainbow wheel of death for a few seconds. Why is it so slow to load my Favorites? Does this happen to anyone else? It became so annoying that I decided to just disable this setting. I can't have the browser freezing every time I click on the address bar.

These are esoteric problems, so I don't expect a huge response, but I'm wondering if these are limited to me or if I've discovered a few bugs.
