Adhoc iPhone to iPad no gps

Hi,

When sharing internet from iPhone to iPad it seems that my iPad cannot get GPS location when taking photos or using Apple maps.

Wifi-only iPad? If so, that's normal. The iPad can generally get location via wifi triangulation in urban areas but out in the middle of nowhere, you'd need a cellular iPad if you want GPS since Personal Hotspot doesn't share location.
