Adium. Added contacts don't come online?!

Hey guys.
I'm using adium, and its great. But, sometimes when i add a new contact it doesn't seem to send an invitation and neither do i get an invitation when some people add me.
I mean everything goes normal when adding a contact. but they never come online, while in real they are.

Please help

I think it's on msns side as it does happen on windows live messenger too.
