Adium Alias's

I organized many of my contacts in Adium by entering alias's for contacts to display instead of their user names. However when I open other clients AIM in windows or iChat in Mac OS, the alias's are not displaying. Is there anything I could do to import them or get them to show up?

you won't get it on windows, but i believe you can select how to display their names in ichat. i did it the opposite way. named them all in ichat, then transfered it all over in adium. check the view menu in ichat.

Yea you could display personalized names in iChat and I know how to do that but what I'm saying that they still do not display (I assume that the names are not uploaded to the AIM server). Any other ways of doing this?
