Adium crashing my macbook?

Hey everyone, i just updated to the latest version of Adium and since my macbook has crashed twice. Both times it was switching back to the Adium window either by using command+tab or by clicking the dock icon. My mac would simply freeze up from there and i would have to power it down by holding the power button. I am now using Mac Messenger with absolutely no problem. Anyone else experience this?

Can't you just force quit Adium when it freezes ?
Just hit alt+cmd+esc.

no i can't i have to power down my computer and turn it back on

You should try a nightly build of Adium, there's a change this will fix your problem.

Just to mention that I had the same problem before I updated to the latest version of Adium which solved the problem for me.

I'm confused... I don't see any nightlies past release 1.1.3 on the beta page. Nor do I see a bug report on this issue on trac.adiumx.com....
