Adium default color?

I have just installed Adium and using it for MSN at the moment, I can customise the default font, but it doesn't seem to save which color you have selected and just reverts back to black.

Any ideas how I can set a default colour?
 
Never mind I think I have managed to figure it out, seem that setting a default font/style/color is a bit flakey and has to be told a few times from different screens.

While I a on the subject of Adium is it possible to show "xxx is typing a message" on my MSN account?
