Adium Help: My Alias Instead of Email

I'm using adium and my friends who are using msn messenger say that my email shows up as my screen name for them instead of my alias. I've changed my name in the personal settings as well as for my msn account but nothing's helped. So how do I make my alias visible to msn messenger users?

I wasn't sure which preferences you wanted a picture of. Aren't these the only ones with anything to do with my display name?

Hmm, weird. It should be working fine. I'm about to go to bed, perhaps try the Adium forums? IF you can't find anything, say so and i'll look in the morning.

I've tried looking everywhere and haven't found anything so I'm starting to feel hopeless.

I'm having the exact same problem. Can you please post what you did to fix this? I've tried everything! It's been like this for over a month and it's driving me crazy.
