My friend with a macbook is having problems with adium. Whenever she (or i) try to sign on she gets the following message:


You have been connecting and disconnecting too frequently. Wait ten minutes and try again. If you continue to try, you will need to wait even longer.

Any solutions? She has the latest version. Thanks.

Try using the latest 1.0 beta ... this appears to be a known issue to the Adium people. It seems to be caused by some idiosyncracy in your network. For instance I've never gotten it in 0.89.
