Does anyone know how to customize or change the layout of the way the contacts are listed? Like right now they list all the available (green bubbles) sns at top then the idle (oj) and away (red). does anyone know if this can be altered?

Under the View menu you have some choices:
Sort contacts alphabetically
Sort contacts by status
Sort contacts manually
Don't miss the Configure XXX Sort (where XXX is the current sort option) in the View menu, as well - the Status Sort in particular has an awesome set of options
